Montecatini Gallery – Chile
Carmen Gloria Machuca’s work captures sensations of exterior space images, through color, density and temperature. Thus an interesting result is the visuality of her painting, which before figurative, takes up the technique of oil on canvas, approaching abstraction, incorporating and respecting stain, dripping and organic forms from spontaneous gesture, as well as in turn, incorporating more traditional elements of design and graphics. The message almost always comes from a moment, makes a cross section at the moment in which the sensation or image is perceived and from there through drawings and notes creates the sensation or image perceived. She is a contemporary Chilean artist.
