ABSTRACT ART CHAOS
Tatiana Escallón a Houston based , Colombian Born Abstract Artist. Her artwork is a stunning representation of chaotic beauty, filled with dynamic layers and expressive energy, the artist uses very intense and contrasting blocks of color, but with variations in atmosphere.
“Wild Chaos” is dominated by a bright yellow, interspersed with orange strokes and a block of blue that provides freshness. In contrast, the “red chaos” shifts toward a warmer orange-pink, with energetic red lines and a blue that stands out more dramatically against the background. The result is that the first conveys light, vitality, and openness, while the second evokes tension, warmth, and internal movement.
Strokes and Gestures
Both paintings are constructed from rapid, almost calligraphic gestures reminiscent of automatic writing. In the left work, the orange strokes seem to expand like sparks of energy, diffusing across the surface. On the right, the red strokes are denser and tighter, creating a sense of contained explosion. This difference gives each piece a distinct voice: one more expansive, the other more intense.
Tatiana Escallón works with superimposed layers that reveal fragments of other textures. Dark areas with linear patterns in black and yellow function as visual anchors within the chromatic chaos. These almost geometric shapes contrast with the free gestures and suggest a dialogue between the structured and the spontaneous.

Symbolic Interpretation
One might think that the work on the left refers to a solar landscape, full of vital energy, almost like an open midday. The one on the right, on the other hand, has a more volcanic feel, as if the color were bursting from within, between fire and lava. Together, the two seem to explore different emotional states: luminous expansion versus passionate eruption.
