EXPRESSION LINES

Sara Infante is a contemporary artist born in Colombia, whose work reflects our everyday emotions and expressions. Her work presents characteristics associated with the surrealist style. Surrealism is an artistic movement that emerged in the 20th century, where artists explored the world of dreams and the irrational through symbolic and subconscious images. Her energetic artworks are primarily oil and ink on canvas.

In “autumn woman” the combination of the female figure with flowers on the head evokes a dreamlike and mysterious sensation, typical of surrealism.  High level of technical skill, the artist demonstrates skill in representing the shapes and textures of flowers, as well as capturing intricate details. The lines and strokes are precise and appear to have been done with mastery.

The composition is balanced and harmonious, with the figure of the woman and the flowers well integrated. Her energetic artworks are primarily oil and ink on canvas.

The color selection expresses a sense of vibrancy and elegance that highlights the beauty of the flowers and the main figure. Characterized by dynamic shapes and impressive choice of colors, creating a definite form.                                                                                                                                        She showcased her work at First Salon of Women Artists “Artemisas” 2023. Her work is collected internationally.
