Art Basel Paris returns this October to the renovated Grand Palais, placing the city and its avant-garde legacy at the heart of this year’s edition.
Art Basel Paris takes place at the Grand Palais, in the heart of the French capital. The show builds bridges with France’s cultural industries to create a flagship event radiating throughout the city, embedded in its exceptional cultural ecosystem.
From October 24 to 26, 2025, under the iconic glass roof of the Grand Palais, Art Basel Paris returns for its second edition and establishes itself as one of the world’s major contemporary art events.
With 206 galleries, including 63 based in France, the event illustrates the exceptional vitality of the French art ecosystem and its driving forces.
Art Basel Paris celebrates the historic and contemporary role of Paris as a crucible of artistic, intellectual and creative avant-gardes, highlighting visionary galleries, pioneering artists and daring multidisciplinary collaborations.
The fair is organized around three major sectors:
- Galleries, showcasing the diversity of exhibitors’ programs;
- Emergence, dedicated to emerging talent;
- Premise, proposing singular curatorial projects.
Among the highlights, a Public Program deployed in nine emblematic venues and collaborations with the city’s creative industries, including the Oh La La!, this year curated by Loïc Prigent.
As every year, the Ateliers d’art GrandPalaisRmn welcome you to their stand (M30) to unveil the new contemporary print from the Chalcographie du Louvre, created by artist Camille Henrot.
Art Basel Paris doesn’t just honor an abundant heritage: it sets it in a contemporary dynamic, helping to consolidate Paris’s role in the global cultural landscape.
For more than a century, Paris has stood as a cradle of creativity – a living history that will be reflected across its sectors and Public Program. Cubism, Surrealism, Situationism, and many other movements were born in the French capital, and generations of artists, writers, and thinkers shaped ideas that reverberated far beyond the city. That avant-garde will be palpable at the show, thanks to a rich blend of established galleries, cutting-edge newcomers, and world-class creatives. During Art Basel Paris, the fair also acts as the primary catalyst of France’s competitive art market – which operates as the fourth largest worldwide, accounting for 7% of global art market sales and more than half of the EU’s total value, according to the Art Basel and UBS Global Art Market Report 2025.
