BIEN AL CENTRO 2 / Group Exhibition by the Central Artists District (DAC) and La Salle University
October 30 – November 29, 2025
The Central Artists District (DAC), in collaboration with the Vice-Rector’s Office for Promotion and Human Development at La Salle University, proudly presents the second edition of BIEN AL CENTRO. This exhibition celebrates the creative pulse of Bogotá’s historic center. This initiative continues to strengthen the dialogue between independent artists, academia, and the city’s vibrant cultural landscape.
Since its foundation, the DAC has been dedicated to highlighting the practices of artists who live and create in downtown Bogotá—those whose work not only interprets the city but actively transforms it. Through exhibitions, conversations, and collaborative projects, DAC reaffirms the power of art to weave social connections and reimagine the urban experience.
BIEN AL CENTRO 2 brings together an extraordinary group of artists whose voices, mediums, and visions intersect to reveal the richness and complexity of the contemporary scene. Participants include: Fernando Murcia, Leonardo Guayán, Estey Ducuara, Iván Hurtado-Lorenzo, Luis Merchán, Renzo Rospigliosi, Guillermo Londoño, Gustavo Vejarano, Flavia Rosales, Santiago Soto, Germán Martínez, Arturo Denarváez, Luis Fernando Bohórquez, Blanca Moreno, Ramón Vanegas, Camila Tabares, Fredy Forero, Mateo Yépes, Margaret Mariño, Umberto Giangrandi, José Horacio Martínez, Daniela Betancourt, Alejandro Ortíz, Pablo Salcedo, Diana Drews, and Rodrigo Facundo.
Each artist contributes a distinctive perspective on the relationship between art, territory, and community, inviting viewers to explore the intersections of personal narrative and collective memory. From abstract compositions to socially engaged practices, the works in this exhibition emphasize the dynamic and evolving identity of Bogotá’s cultural core.
Through shared efforts in design, promotion, and public engagement, DAC and La Salle University reaffirm their commitment to contemporary creation and the sustainable growth of the downtown art ecosystem.
BIEN AL CENTRO 2 is more than an exhibition—it is a collective gesture of presence, a celebration of artistic resilience, and a testament to the creative energies that continue to shape the heart of Bogotá.
