Artissima, Turin

Artissima, one of Italy’s most significant art fairs, celebrates its 30th anniversary this year. Luigi Fassi will be directing the fair for the second time. Around 170 exhibitors participate in each edition of the fair, which is renowned for its focus on contemporary art. While it is unclear which galleries or artists will be featured in this year’s edition, it has attracted participants from all over the world in the past, including Latin America.

Some Latin American galleries that have participated in previous editions of Artissima include A Gentil Carioca from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, and LABOR from Mexico City. These galleries and others have showcased works by a range of Latin American artists, from established figures like Gabriel Orozco and Lygia Clark to emerging talents such as Alice Miceli and Víctor Leguía.
