Mural of Waves Drawn Entirely with a Silver Pen At Seattle Art Museum

“Encontro das guas”

( Encounter of Waters). Cinto place a wooden boat in front of the mural and, in the interior of the boat’s structure, addeding a digitally scanned and rendered black vinyl sticker of an abstract raft.  Currently on view at Seattle Art Museum’s Olympic Sculpture Park Pavilion is this massive mural made with just blue and silver paint pen.  Sandra Cinto, along with a team of two assistants and 20 local volunteers, worked to complete an  incredible installation.                                                              Sandra Cinto is a Brazilian contemporary artist, known for her sculpturing, drawing, paintings, and installations. Cinto’s artwork mixes installations, paintings, and detailed pen drawings.
